Buy mercury from the shop, and craft dark matter, or buy it from the shop.

Mercury can only be purchased, and Dark Matter can be dropped from Dark Elementals and Created at Johannes

there's a relatively better option: kill glashtyn to farm the mace named ayamur , that mace can be dissassembled into gold , and the gold into dark matter and mercury.( do so once and reasemble the gold, that way the shop will be able to sell you more gold-15k price XD)

Dark Matter is made with alchemy, in the food tab, it's made with 1 Rat tail, 1 toad eye, 1 witch's tear and 1 fell leaf
Rat tail and toad eyes are obvious from wich enemy they drop, the witch tear drops from that big black ghost thing that cries and curses you, its called Cyhyraeth, as for the fell leaf I don't know, still searching
