About the sword familiar
I leveled it enough as for it's equippable form to appear in my inventory but it doesn't let me equip it. Anybody knows why?

You can't equip the sword on yourself if you are currently using it as a familiar summon

true , I wasn't considering that since i'm used to have it as my main familiar XD

by the way. do you happen to know if 50 it's the max level for familiars ?
Level 99 is max for both player and familiar

Oh wow, I was wondering why sometimes I could not equip that sword and I never noticed it was actually the familiar. Now I understand, thanks for that.

if you use the shortcut menu, you can equip both the weapon and shard at the same time.

does the sword actually increase in damage the more you level or rank your familiar? Because so far it is a constant 27 raw stat for me

The higher level it gets to the higher damage it gets just like the Sword Familiar in Symphony of the Night

Pity the familiar itself isn't nearly as good as in SotN. The dullaheads are definitely the forefront in pets that murder things. Especially when you get their grade to 9 so you have 5 heads at once.

If the Familar A.I. could stop scratching it's balls for 90% of the time, they would be pretty awesome.

Does the equipable version of it raise in dmg too, when the familiar ranks/levels up?

Mine is 37, I suspect the attack power grows the more enemy it kills in the summoned form.

From someone else's post earlier, at lvl 99 it reaches 55 attack power. Not worth it in other words, by that time you'll have Blue Rose at 58.

Well with all gear you don't need that extra 3 atk, so you might aswell just use a weapon you like and like how it looks really, the game is easy as it is even with beginner weapons more or less.
