Bloodstained: ROTN freeze issue

So, i've been having an unusual freezing issue where the game literally just...stops. In the middle of playing. I'm getting tired of not being able to play and am wondering if a fix exists for these damned freezes, and if other people have also gotten this issue.

I get frozen on the loading screen right after starting a file.

Yeah; broke a wall torch and the game spontaneously froze. No idea why; didn't happen again.

I've occasionally had similar issues with the HQ area where all the humans are hanging out, especially the area with the farm.

Ever since this morning, I can't play for 5-20 minutes without it freezing. I even tried verifying the integrity of the game's files. It didn't work. I cannot progress in the game anymore, and frustrating enough I am just over halfway in the game if not 70% map completion.

Game Froze upon sitting in the photo chair

I've managed to solve my issue: The save file had been corrupted. I wiped it and started fresh. Am further now than i was before and have experienced no freezes. May also have to do with the patch.

The game has crashed on me several times. No rhyme or reason whatsoever. I've had about 10 crashes so far.

I didn't have any of this issues in my first 20h, but since yesterday I get freezing every 1h30-2h00 gameplay, game becomes unresponsive and need to restart -_-' I also got the bookcase fatal error 2 times today and it never happenned before

i started crashing after the ghost train, around the entrances to the lab. its frustrating cause i am a SotN fan and love this game. played very great until i got to the lab. im on Win7

My solution for the freezing was to open the settings, go to graphics, and turn off Framerate Smoothing. There appears to be a glitch in the coding for it that freezes the game. Hope this helps.

seems setting framerate off, turnin off v sync, and saving to new files didnt work, but manually changing some nVidea 3d settings and updating it seeeems to have helped. combined with every other fix i could find

I fixed it! I Uninstalled it! and it works as it should. As in if its not there it shouldnt work.....lol
