How does Blood Steal work?
Does it do anything beyond unlocking that one area? I tried it on several enemies but it doesn't seem to do anything at all. Am I missing something?

It gives you like 8 hp per blood spilled in the floor/background. To get blood to spill, y ou have to attack enemies with a slashing weapon or something. AKA It's useless.
even at a boss fight with the floor filled with blood after a while, this skill doesn't really heal much and it costs a lot of MP

Try using it after blood smears somewhere.

It's the same as Dark Metamorphosis in Symphony of the Night. You absorb blood on the ground and from enemies to heal yourself. Maybe worth using a shortcut for if you're low on health, but otherwise not worth equipping at all.

DM was actually useful as it didn't cost much MP and you got health when getting splashed by blood when hitting an enemy.
Blood Steal is much worse... blood MUST be on the floor and the skill costs an excessive amount of MP. And the worst thing is, flying enemies don't usually leave blood puddles on the floor, so it only really works on enemies you kill on the ground.

i tried REALLY hard to use this skill. on certain boss fight you get a lot of blood on the floor and even then it was a total waste. the MP were much better invested into attack spells.
