Stuck after Giant Hand battle

So I beaten the giant hand, but during the fight the hand broke that object you can move with it and it does not respawn. After that I think I explored everything I can and basically I am stuck. Is there something I am missing? Is the not respawning of that thing a bug or is it normal? Is there something important in the next room I can't reach?

Go back to the carriage driver, you will be able to lift the statue that's blocking it.

yes, I explored everything I could past that. Right now I feel like I need a double jump.

Hmm, did you find the room with OG? I'm about to face the 4th boss that's right beneath him and I haven't unlocked any other ability since I defeated the giant hand. You probably missed a room.

Also I the statue in the giant hand room was leading to a room with some armor inside a chest (Crusader's Armor) and the Silver Knight familiar. You don't need either of those to progress.

I'm also stuck at this point. I've seen the train, but couldn't reach it, and I've been to the Twin Dragon Tower (or something like that). Couldn't progress much through the tower. Found a new area through it, but clearly didn't have the necessary ability to explore that place at all. No idea where to go now. The shopkeeper said she has something I could use to enter the train, but I can't figure it out.

Yep, you missed a room :D You need to point at the bookcases in that room to turn them into platforms:

Also, I wouldn't worry about the train right now, apparently it only becomes available after we repair the camera in the base (need to get a picture of Miriam to make a pass).

To be fair, it stumped me too. Only figured it out when I revisited the area after eliminating all other possible directions of progress.
