WTF IS THE DROP RATE FOR THIS CRAP?!
I tried every possible way to farm this material BUT IT NEVER ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DROPS!
I got tons of Alexandrite, Cashmere BUT NOT THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Orichalcum!
And it's the one of the core parts of, well, EVERYTHING!
You need this for armor, you need it for familiars, you need it for headgear, you need it for weapons.

Right now i managed to get one, ONLY ONE ORICHALCUM!
I think i will craft Grand Izayoi with it, so i could commit sudoku.

The G Axe Outsiders in the final area drop it. The best spot to do so is a couple of rooms before Gremory’s boss fight. There’s a G Axe Outsider right next to a hole. Kill him, fall down, jump back up, and repeat ad nauseum until you’ve gotten the desired amounts of Orichalcum.

There's a chest in that ice area, 1 or 2 rooms above the teleport room, that has had Orichalcum in it 50% of the times I looted it. Give that a shot. Once you can make one thing that uses it you never have to farm it again, cause you can just make that one thing, then buy it from the store and dismantle whenever you need more. Remember your luck gear.

Increase your luck. Use Plunderer's Ring. Find a spot at Glacial Tomb with a G Axe Outsider right next to you (I like the one that also have a Demon Lord). Keep running back and forth and obliterating him, Pray to the gods of RGN to leave you F alone!

Lissen to some good music while leaving your brain doing the work automatically.

Also, it's more likely that you will find 2 in the chests there.

I actually managed to gent one from them. ONLY ONE! Other times there is only Alexandrite, Cashmere, Krystal or 500g.
In fact, at some point i started to get only 500g so i took off Plunderer's Ring, because i was starting to think it affects the drop rate from chests and makes them drop only money.

Well after venting out, i think i will try to do this, but i will make a script to automate the process.

Note, once you make something with a rare material, you will be able to buy whatever item that you've crafted from the merchant, then break down the bought items to get the crafted material. Not a cheap process, but you don't need a lot of the rarer materials.

Do you perhaps have the passive shard "Augment Gold" unlocked and enabled? i found that for some reason my usual material drops got replaced by money because of this passive. better have it turned off when farming materials. When i was farming Orichalcum i equipped 2 plunderer's rings with high luck, farming the G axe outsider at the spot "Laddytheoutcast" mentioned before earlier in the comment chain.

Hmm... Actually yesterday farmed 5 of them about in 15 min. Luck 64 (books + items) and easy farm it in this location:

You can farm them pretty fast if you can kill them quick from across the screen, just go in and out of a room with the dude thats close by the exit and I used Void Ray and melt them if they drop a bag Accelerate over pick it up and reset. *also make sure you have high luck and the item drop shard on*

I use Pickpocket. I tried Augment Gold because i thought it will make more valuable items drop more, but i didn't feel much difference.

Augment Gold just gives you more and bigger money drops, so you start getting 500, 1000, 2000 gold drops as you upgrade it instead of the usual maximum of 100.

I use alchemical bounty shard, makes items drop like crazy, even the so called super rare ones!

I think that one doesn't affect drops man, it only affects crafting.

This. It has no relevance to LUK which is what does increase drop. Also plunderer ring X2.

110 LUK, double Plunderer's Ring, every mob is a pinata. Unless it's the Light Elemental, those bastards just will not part with those diamonds without a fight.
