Left tower. Find this place, kill the werewolf, stand on the bloodstain. Mites will keep spawning with no limit, just attack them with your favorite directional shard. Their shard drop isn't very high probability, but you're not going to run out of mites.

Edit: Do this while wearing the Eye of Horus. Probably won't work as well without that.

This is the last shard I need to level to 9. I was wondering where was the spawn point for them. I went to that place and was speed running to the door and back again for the respawns, until I was like "I'm not going to use that ability that much anyways" lol. I didn't know they endlessly respawn if you stayed there xD Thanks for the tip!!
