Where to find certain food items?

So, I'm in need of getting a few certain food items, either I don't know where they are, or the only way I know of is super slow.

Garlic, I can't find, and forget where it is.

Where can I find a more convenient room to farm Scylla for their clams? Those are necessary, and the room they're in is so inconvenient...

Same with Flying Beef. The only enemy I know that drops them are those cows in the Oriental Science Lab, and those have a 1% chance of dropping it.

Anybody know how to farm these things more easily?

Garlic is found in Blue Chests in Livre Ex Machina correctlym. Scyllas can only be found in that underwater area.

As for Flying Beef, that cow demon is unfortunately the only source. Your best bet is to from just one Flying Beef from the cow, use it to prepare a Meat Hot Pot and just buy and disassemble them to get more Flying Beef.

For garlic, I know it's an early area, I want to say the chests in garden of silence, but I could be wrong.

Are you trying to farm Scylla in the room with the spikes? I farmed them for their shard on the route from the waterway teleport room left towards the lab. There's a big underwater room that goes in an S shape, in the early part there are 3 Scyllas. Still a pain though, since you're slow underwater.

For flying beef, that's the only source. So you're better off making one dish out of it, then simply buying some more and dismantling. Expensive as that is, money is easy to come by.

Garlic is library blue chest drops.
Scylla, not sure which room you referring to. There are at least 3 rooms with them (in hard and nightmare).
Cow meats. Equip the rings that help with item drops x2, turn on passive +luck you can in and out farm that one in the long room to the right of the warp using the room with the Deathtrap mimic.

You need Augment Gold passive shard, Johannes can craft it from a Augment Luck shard (which doesn't get used up) and gold (does get used up) get it to rank 9 and you'll frequently see drops of 500g, 1000g and even 2000g from enemies and braking lamps.

Wear the augment gold shard as well to double dip and gain more bonuses.

Better to equip Augment Luck or Red Remembrance for gold, since Augment Gold doesn't seem to actually stack with itself. At least, in any meaningful way. You'll get more benefit from boosting Gold to boost the average gold drop.
