Nothing I could figure out. I assume it is either an easter egg I don't understand or maybe plans for future content (not sure if the devs plan on going further with this game, but since it is sort of the revival of the old symphony of the night Castlevania I would hope so). Celeste means "heavenly" in spanish and the room looks quite a bit more pleasant, though the whole castle generally doesn't look all that demonic and evil so it might be part of further background lore.

The "Key" rooms are backers rewards: Carpenter, Warhorse, and Millionaire are boss rooms, Celeste isn't. It's jsut a reward for someone who backed the game at a high tier.

Its like the room in SOTN where you can sit down in a confessional and a priest will appear. Ig doesnt have any real gameplay function, but is there to add flavor.

You can either get stabbed or the apparition will drop an item for you in the confessional room.

Someone said a ghost can appear in the Celeste room if you do something. Forgot the details.

Just sit in one of the chairs. An apparition of a white lady (likely Celeste) will appear.
Don't think there's an enemy in the room, as I've completed the beastiary without traversing in Celeste's room.

You can sit on a chair and a ghost appears when you sit on a Conjured one 2 ghost appear on the original chairs and you can Timestop them so that they will stay on screen other than those things nothing happens

lmao, i know I'm bumping an old thread but I just had to correct that Celeste in spanish is not heavenly, it's "light blue" as in the antonym of dark blue or royal blue

Actually Celeste does mean "Heavenly" but in French not Spanish...

Well, not totally sure about Spanish, but in Portuguese, "Celeste" can mean both light blue (usually called "azul celeste") and "heavenly". And I think Spanish goes in the same direction.

Based on that description, it sounds like in your Portuguese example: "Azul" is blue, "Celeste" is Heavenly" and "Azul Celeste" is "Heavenly Blue" which I can see being "light Blue." So Celeste seems to just be "Heavenly."

That's just my 2 cents, so don't quote me on that. I could be wrong.

Captain probably-obvious, awaaaayyyyyy!

I see that some of you guys are still questioning about this room, so here's the spoilers:

Once you go in you hold right for about 2 seconds. There you have found the solution: this room is entirely pointless.

Greetings from Spain.
In Spanish it translates exactly as you said in Portuguese.
