Game causes computer to reboot randomly
Does anyone else have this issue? It started happening today, I haven't had any issues with it before this. I thought it might be because my computer got overheated so I cleaned out all the dust in it and now it doesn't even get hot but it still reboots.

Actually mines hard crashing off to the point I have to power cycle it to turn it on, it’s reminiscent of the Vulkan api conflict that X4 had. Although I fixed that five months ago
This is a sign of a failing PSU. If you get BSOD i'd also check the RAM with MEMTEST.

I'm not getting BSOD or any warnings at all when the computer boots back up. I've tested with some other games but it only happens with this one so far.

Thanks for the help, my PSU is getting a bit on the old side so that seems like a likely cause.
Didn't had this issue, but my game randomly fake froze a few times. Often after I try to open the menu again right after I close it. I said fake, cause if I just do a mouse click, it will "thaw".
That look suspicious like a Nvidia kernel failure, and since I recently moved to Win10, I never saw the kernel notification again, but I noticed the Nvidia icon missing from the tray.

So I downloaded new drivers and the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). Did a proper clean up while in safe mode. Till now, I had not issues. Not even a slighty hiccup. Hope this won't jynx it.

Who knows, pehaps this procedure can help you. Also worth to do a Steam installation integrity of this game.

You propably have stop error 0x0 (critical) in your Event logs. Usually those appear when the computer is unable to write a dump/error at all, which usually happens with sudden Power Cuts.

I do. I'm not sure how to read it though, does it have any info on what might have caused it?
me and my friend have been getting BSODs also, I think it's directly related to this game. Both are a type of DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. We both have completely different systems, in different countries, and coming here to see others getting BSODs on this game also paints a red flag. Both PCs have been fine before installing this, I haven't had a BSOD in decades.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
