Whoa, haven't gotten home yet to play my copy but I was really hoping for a difficult to farm crissaegrim equivalent for endgame, that is too soon.

you need to button mash it but it hits while moving at quite good speed
it caught me by surprise to get such a good weapon so early.
i suppose damagewise there will be better options later on.

Yea the ability to attack unimpeded is what made that thing so amazing, really trivializes much of the combat and difficulty at that point. Surprising to see something like that so early into the game; really looking forward to playing though!

It's actually qutie good for early game, yeah, specially with the Lion Warrior shard (passive boost to one handed sword and mace.) Though I still rpefer the spinning knight weapon drop ^^

loool using shards to craft another ones with alchemy doesn't consume them

I think it's not Crissaegrim, because in SotN there is a sword, the Vorpal Blade with the same crissaegrim attack, but you also have to keep hitting the button like this weapon ... crissaegrim does not need it.

It simply completely ♥♥♥♥♥ on every other weapon you will find in the next few hours and that's called bad balance. The best option would be not to use it, but then we have the drill sword magic which pretty much kills everything in 1 second.

The game certainly isn't trying to make it hard for you on the first playthrough.
