i somewhere heard roughly 10 hours, i can't remember where though.

EDIT: there is replay potential though (more characters) and additional modes come later as Free DLC

Game is really is designed for switch, too short for a PC game.

If you want just complete story fast it will take I think 6-8 hours, but if you want explore castle like in other metroidvanias it can take you more than 15h. I played 5h and I have 39% completion. There is a lot of stuff to master.

Blind playthrough for most people should be around 10-15 hours.

35 bucks for 10 hours...hmmm...Hopefully there is some kind of NG+ where the map is random next play through or random maps you can find.

Most metroidvania's do not offer a random mode. Closest I can think of is a romhack of super metroid or some other hacks out there.

A lot of the replay comes from playing at higher difficulties, or other characters that play differently. There are benefits to random maps, but most vanias prefer the consistency of experience a set map gives.

If you compare it to SotN, it's not the initial playthrough time that makes it great, but the replay time... searching for secret stuff, etc...

I'm guessing this will be bigger than SotN and have more hidden stuff and items, but that's just a guess since I just started playing.

there are , more characters and also a rougelike castle mode planned but not yet in the game.

they will be free as they are stretch goals from the Kickstarter.
