Have there been any reviews for this game yet?

Yeah, I've been hyped for this game since forever but delayed review copies are always incredibly worrying.

I doubt it would be that bad because the issue Might No 9 had is they tried to do too much before the game was even released and they ran out of money in the process. However you are correct in the fact that review copies are delayed for some reason can be worrying.

Well, if there's an upside, Bloodstained: RotN will be better than Mighty No. 2 in terms of visuals and gameplay.

Yeah I have read reviews where they acknowledged the bugs but they didn't take the bugs into consideration with their score on how good the game is because sometimes the bugs can really effect the game. Like they would say let's hope that game x would receive patches to fix these bugs. This why sometime amateur reviewers are better than the professionals because they can speak their mind without getting into hot water with the developer even though some developers can't take criticism and they end up getting into a fight with a amateur reviewer. I can understand why they have that embargo because like I said earlier in my statement that they do not want bugs interfering with the reviews of all types whether its amateur or professional.

Thanks for the info at least we know the reason why reviewers have an embargo.

There's no DRM.

I doubt they want it on illegal sites before even their backers can play it. Media copies always end up leaked when its light or DRM-free. And stuff ends up leaked gameplay wise.

I didn't back the game for some ♥♥♥♥ bag youtuber to monetize a video and leak it all before I can play it. Bad enough retailers breaking street dates.

Well, that is a good point. I wish most game reviewers would wait until after the day one patch before doing a review.

Most of them where backers for physical copies, but there was one of them that got their copy from a chain in the US called mom and pop (i think it was named that) They started selling the game a few days ago, wich is wrong, but its not the games fault when stores do not hold to their release dates..
