Adding Steamworkshop support
This would be an amazing gesture to all the great modders out there and would likely increase the longeivity of your game by 10 fold, Not to mention with the layout and design of the game we would have custom content :) I know the first thing people will scream is NUDE mods, grow up, its a metroidvania game, and one that will likely only be purchased of fans of the genre.

Now I could see something like sexy clothing mods getting in, but other than that it would likely be character swaps, weapon reskins, or entire reworks of map designs, the ideas that people could come up with, I mean look at the Binding of Issac or Don't Starves Steamworks mods :) Well here's hoping one of the developers see this,, again would be an amazing gesture of good faith to the PC community.

Dependng on the middlewares they are using they may not be able to actively support modding even if they wanted.

Also I think you mean Steam Workshop support. Steamworks support just means like the usual stuff cloud saves, achievements, Steam multiplayer integration, etc.

Thanks! fixed the title, I hope they are able to do it :)
for me, workshop is a must for every game so i' hoping there will be workshop for bloodstained. But for now, let's just focus on the game release first, 4 days to go

Seeing as they cancelled Mac and Linux citing middleware issues, I'm doubting they can' feasibly do workshop. At most people might be able to use UDK and sites like nexus.

I don't see why they would, the question is more just how much middleware and how the file-structure is. If they modified the engine it could be harder to work with.

It really looks like they used the unreal engine with the game though?
