so lets hope
Yes, Sony is very picky. They wouldn't let this monster see the light of day in its current form.
On the other hand the devs could "optimize" the game for PS4, because it is just one hardwired system, not dozens of possible PC configurations. But again, this wouldn't change a thing about the gameplay value itself, meaning the repetetive nature of the game mechanics.
If it is even salvageable at this stage.
Yeah, I really wonder how they want to accomplish this task. It seems unrealistic considering what has happened the last four years and how much resources they seem to have.
First they have to fix almost all current bugs.
Second, it is not just a simple port for a PS4, by just clicking in Unity: export for PS4. Even when porting from Android to iPhone there are a lot of aspects to consider.
Third, there will be new bugs when dealing with a new end system. I wonder how much experience they have with Xbox, PS4 and Switch development.
But the most difficult part is reaching the gameplay quality of even the worst current Playstation 4 game.
To accomplish a 2019 release for all three consoles with the quality hurdles of Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony? Good luck!
Hey, Otherside founder Paul Neurath used to be a "creative director" at Zynga! :D
No fair to just make fun of War Inspector for producing just Epic Mickey over the last two decades. Neurath and an unknown amount of former LGS talent did work on Mo-Pets, a mobile phone game with cute animals after all! :D
I'm giving Warren the BOTD at this point.
"If we had a brain in our head, we would be selling 3D printed versions of the (enemies, items and props in UA, designed to look like painted D&D miniatures)"
"How's the launch for Underworld going, Warren?"
"It's going great!"
You make my day
