Thanks for the bump! I tend to get tunnel vision'd when working on KS / marketing work. I was making a new UA trailer for the console release for the last two weeks, as well as tackling some KS goods that I want to ship out to Fangamer ASAP.

Following up from my post in April, our external Mac and Linux porters have been taking a swing at UA for the last month or so once the work for Update 4 has slowed down. Mac/Linux release should still hopefully align with our Update 4, which should release before the end of this month. If not, we expect it should release a few weeks after Update 4.

Checking in on the external developer's progress logs, it looks like they recently resolved some shader and visual glitch issues, some of which were unique to launching the game from Steam.

Awesome, hopefully I'll actually be able to play the game soon!

It's a local studio near us in Concord called TrickyFast, which makes things a little easier to coordinate in terms of time zones. (For reference, our contacts at 505 are on the West Coast and one of our external engineering teams is in Europe.) Our Executive Producer, Rich, worked with them at Disruptor Beam, and highly recommended them to us.

Ah was just interested in case it was one I knew, in this case that's a nope.

Still, thanks again for keeping us in the loop about Linux.

Just tried this with steamplay, works quite well really, even at 4k.

The only issue I see is lack of graphical option settings, Its probably got things tuned up way to much in some areas and having complete control over this is kinda essential for PC.

I thought the Linux release was supposed to be coming out with the big update...
Arcanoxer Aug 13, 2019 @ 12:48pm
Any news from the TrickyFast Studio?

Underworld Ascendant finally arrived on Linux today! :penguinsrock:

Is ther any chance to get the "Week 1 Companion Creature - Vorpa" and "Week 1 Companion Creature - Mana Leech" ?
Because this is our first weak!

Edit:
The keys for the Kickstarter Backer stuff like the Avatar's Ring and the Pet don't work for me,
The chest in Marcaul is empty!

Mac and Linux versions are now officially available for backers and players!

We're still working out the kinks with the DLC rewards and depots, since normally our publisher helps us set this up. We apologize for the delays as we work this out.

I'll be looking into how to make sure the Kickstarter keys you have work across Windows/Mac/Linux (they should...). I suspect there's a checkbox somewhere on Steamworks that I need to find for each of the DLC items.
