purchased the game but need help with Visible Upgrade: Unofficial patch

hi! after hearing a lot of ♥♥♥♥ all these years i wanted to give it a go and try the sequel but after installing the Visible Upgrade: Unofficial patch the game though it runs with a 16:9 aspect ratio everything else seems to be stretched like its running with a lower resolution, when going to option menu doesnt show any resolution higher than 1024 how i change the resolution to 1080p?

and i noticed the HUD is way too up on the screen any way to fix the HUD being too up?
