It had a way better plot and characters than the final two games. I played twelve hours of MD and I couldn't tell you one character other than the ones they brought back from HR. The Adam Jensen games had progressively ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ writing. HR just stole Robocop's plot and then ripped off N.G. Resonance to make Eliza. I was so bored of MD I couldn't be bothered to finish it. The ending of HR is so pointless I can't even remember what option I chose.
Also Invisible War wasn't a vent-crawling simulator and there weren't any of those terrible pre-fab animations where enemies just gawk at you like an idiot while you kill their buddy. Sometimes I would teleport out of the room or hallway I was in and reappear in a whole new area in front of guards. I hated the design of those new games.
And if fans are going to criticize Invisible War for having small levels, the newer games had some cramped hub words too, and you can't blame it on crappy console limitations either.
Eidos Montreal is simply not good at making Deus Ex or Thief games. When I think about Assassins Creed and Arkane's games in general I think people with French accents suck at stealth mechanics.
Though I haven't dared to try it.
Agreed.
I can't even MAKE myself finish Human Revolution.
Human revolution has some crazy epic music though, as for the game itself, its not bad, just like mankind, neither one is bad, both are amazing games, i do however like deus ex and invisible war better though. But i like all deus ex games, even the fall and breach. But nothing will be better than the first two.
They're working on a new one right now, i sure hope its like cyberpunk 2077 style of gameplay.
Well what i mean is, open world, cyber sci-fi type of game. I do hope they add character creation though, would love to make my own character in a deus ex game.
