Is the guy with the chainsaw Aya's Father?

I'm just playing and I approached the chemistry lab and it triggered an event. I hid in a locker and a guy that looked exactly like Aya's father from the Mad Father games came out with a chainsaw! I cant really remember, but I think he had a chainsaw when chasing you. Its most Likely a refrence at best but if it is him THATS AWESOME! XD

Oh and I hope they revamp Mad Father next :3

Mad Father is on Steam already hunnie! :3 and there are references from Mad Father as it's the same designer Sen.

Have you tried calling Library "Aya"?
You'll find out that she is Aya, but only allows her father to call her that.

Mad Father and Misao are linked, somehow~. Have you went into the other room in the Library?

Yes, they are indeed linked. Ms. Library is in fact an older Aya from Mad Father. The crazy zombie scientist with the chainsaw is THE "Mad Father".. When prompted to give Ms. Library a name, type in the name "Aya" and she will reject it and mention that only her father can call her by that name. :) Hope this is of interest!

It's actually really cool too because 1) The student council president is the "Red-eyed stranger" from Mad Father - at the end of Mad Father (save father and Maria), when you leave the house, it switches to the red-eyed stranger and he asks Aya's father to come with him and do his research. So it's logical that he's Aya's father in Misao. Additionally, the mandrakes are part of his research as well. 2) The room in the library has a picture of Aya's mother (presumably based off what is visible in the picture and what it looked like by Aya's bed in MF). 3) Aya's journal is in the library, speaking about her family and what her dad did to her mother and Maria.
This is SO interesting because initially played Misao before ever playing Mad Father a few years ago and now that I've played Mad Father many times and have recently turned back to Misao now, the easter eggs are so fun to find.

So Bagel boi already pretty much said it but Mad Father is actually said by the creator that the 2 games are indirectly linked, Mad Father in a way was a prequel to Misao

If you try to give her the name ''Maria'', she'll say that she doesn't like the name very much too. I think it's pretty cool for real, all the connections between Misao and Mad Father!
