My thoughts on the game
I've bought and played it on discord. For it's price, the game is challenging and worth the money, but sadly it's lack of feature and huge room for improvement is what makes the game is just an average game. Personally i'd rather the dev delayed the game, polish the game and up the price.
I personally really loved challenging game, but this game isnt challenging the way it supposed to be.
Here's my reasons on why i think so:

-The game mechanic is somewhat broken.
I've beat 3 boss so far (greed, lust, and envy). The game introduce different mechanics everytime and i'd confidently says the mechanis is bad and quite dumb to be honest. Greed new mechanics is the toxin. This makes us (me) as a player to be more careful when chaining my attack. On the paper this is nice, makes us the player to be more careful when moving or spamming attack and makes the bosses harder to die since you cant just attack them too much.
But this mechanis is very to useless because the game had stamina bar. Everytime you parry greed, you can spam attack 2 or 3 time then not getting toxicated. You cant spam more than this anyway since you dont have the stamina to do so. So what's the point of having toxin bar to prevent you to spam when you cant do that in the first place?

-It's all about the parry. I beat greed and envy simply by parrying and nothing else.
-The gadget (items) doesnt do anything for me (they are useless), except the heals. I do see interaction where if Levin Indok (the gold one, i cant remember is it indok or undok) calls dagger/sword around her and you throw a spear/javelin it will be gone (or some of it).

-The poise system is bad. I dont think in this type of game (arcade boss fights), the enemy should be able to hit you when you got down or got chained so badly until you are dead or at least it take 75% of the hp bar. Yes, i get it that it's punishing but the way it punished you is just isnt fair. I'd rather got punished to the death like in dark souls game where it happens when you do something stupid. But this, some of the attacks is way too hard to evade and it chains. Like the axe throwing from envy is quite stupid since you cant really block or evade it (the i-roll was bad) and hence you just play hugging and parry against her.

-Debuff having no counter. So far i've seen 2 debuff which was the toxin and freezing. The toxin one is somewhat hard to be activated a.k.a easy to be dodged (considering you've fought greed more than 3 times before), but still after it activated it just gonna eat you alive with no way to counter (at least i didnt found one, since for me it only got activated once during my progress to kill him). The freeze however i really think it's stupid. After you got frozen, at least make chanel (or channel) can only hit you once and make the ice shattered, not just let her spam me to death.

-The sacrifice system is seriously flawed IMO. On the fights against Envy, your items got taken away which is fine but the thing is, why removed all of the fire weapon buff and not just remove one of it so you could actually enjoy the item the whole game? Because of this i've only used it once against the greed since envy was my 2nd boss.

-There's no immersion since there's no customization. I'm one of those player who loved to customize my characters.

Overall i really loved how hard game is, but i really think with some improvement such as customization, and some open world against smaller enemy would do this game justice.

Hey, thanks for such detailed thoughts! We agree that the sacrifice system isn't perfect and we will definitely look into it. For us, we wanted to encourage experimentation (hence the multiple endings) and push people to play in different ways.

We will definitely be looking into your thoughts and feedback and giving them serious consideration.

Thanks for the reply, i think simply give us the player of the fire buff item and it's peachy. Also i really like it when you sacrifice some parts of the armor is gone but i think it's not all sacrifice do this? So far i only notice the shield shattering and armor gone.

You’re right, not ever Sacrifice has an obvious change on Adam, but most do.
