deus ex windows desktop theme

So in online stores and this link: http://www.deusex-machina.com/information/faq-goty.asp states that there is a windows desktop theme that came with the game. does anyone know what the theme is?! it has been driving me nuts and i would be very interested in what that is!

The GOTY version I bought on CD back in 2002 had wallpapers and... I don't really remeber what else. I'm sure in this era of internet there is no need for such goty, today's goty are full games which were earlier sold be pieces.

I have the 2 disc GOTY version with the soundtrack and SDK. I will try to dig it up later and investigate. I'm not sure where it is at the moment. I have a lot of stuff in boxes.

So here's the deal with the themes.. my disc is not working well. It's kind of scratched up, but I think it may have succumbed to disc rot as well. In any case, after some perseverance, I was able to extract most of the contents of THEMES.EXE. The only thing missing are the wallpapers, although I did manage to get one of them: http://i.imgur.com/Th2YjKh.png

Other than the wallpapers, there are two .theme files which I can't open in Win 7. There's also a folder of cursors: http://i.imgur.com/G8N8n7U.png, a folder of icons: http://i.imgur.com/L5YAoNt.png, and several folders of sounds, including sounds to use for custom themes.

I'm very curious to see the other wallpapers now. I've been looking on the web, but I haven't turned up anything. Not even a mention of them.

those look real nice. great customization. Would use the wallpaper too if it were of higher res.

Awesome! Is that Jock in the background? Weird for such an (relatively) unimportant character is on the wallpaper. I think it would suit it better if there was Paul up there. (rivalry mech vs nano)

Ok.. so I kept going at it and managed to get the whole thing. Apparently this stuff was meant to be used with Microsoft Plus![en.wikipedia.org]
