GMDX is much more understated, much of its benefit is in gameplay & general quality of life improvements & its visual improvements are well in keeping with the original in style.
Plus any excuse to play DX twice back to back is always a good thing, because even it were released in any 2020s year so far it'd be a serious contender for the best game of the year.
(Now we just need a followup to Mankind Divided -.-)
Use revisions built-in modifiers to spice up gameplay and have permanent blood decals.
Try vanilla-madder or deus-ex-randomizer sometime if you want the truly augmented
experience.
