Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition

Kill or Stun
So, I've always played stealth games starting with a non-lethal option, but sometimes I've reached parts that I ran out of ammo for non lethal ways to proceed ,so my question is :
Does killing people affect my progress or affects the story ?

doesn't really affect your progress/story. It's just a challenge for yourself since going nonlethal is harder than going rambo.
You get comments from Anna Nevarre (a cold hearted killer), Sam Carter (an old soldier, likes tactics so no killing) and Paul Denton (your brother, also hates to kill) for about the first three or so missions but after that it doesn't really matter.

Kill. I like role-playing cold-blooded, MIB-like, Terminator. It just feels SO GOOD!

I prefer ghosting. Sucks that tranquilizer darts are rubbish though

I usually play non-lethal for the first chunk of the game, avoiding killing NSF and UNATCO people. Don't make the same considerations for MJ12.

I should really try an all non-lethal run sometime. Just to do something different. I have a tendency to play the same way everytime, either going heavy melee or just max pistol skill. I don't think I've ever played through the game using heavy weapons either. Aside from occasionally picking up a GEP gun for two seconds to shoot something really specific.

Haha same, as I grew up with Deus Ex I always played the beginning a million times (for whatever reason) until when you find the friendly NSF commander in the mole people hideout so after doing that heaps

I thought UNATCO was a family and never knew about the twist. I can't kill them, they were all just so cool. The guy at the desk who went to academy with you and always is on your side, Manderly being like your father, Janice being so nice, Shannon and he stealing, Alex and his secret stash and so on. May sound stupid but they felt like real people but MJ12, meh, I don't mind blowing them up. The NSF are also cool coz of their uniforms and the twist
