Audio crackling
Does anyone know how to solve this? The audio just generally has popping sounds here and there and it's annoying.

It sounds to me like loose or dirty speaker wire connections. I seriously doubt the game is causing it. What device are you playing on? Older built-in speakers like to crackle. Have you tried anything to fix it?

No this is an issue with the game, a known one. Nothing to do with my headphones. Just want to know a definitive solution.

If you're using Kentie launcher with OpenGL disable "use DirectSound"
