What would u think about a Remake? I really love HR and MD but the original Deus Ex feels extremely clunky and outdated. I would love to see a Deus Ex Remake in the style of MD.

Being one of the boomers I say screw them fake boomers since I can just deal with old graphic just fine. xD

I really want some turbo charged aug combat, and I really feel like neither MD style (boring 2010 cover shooter) or the original would fit the bill for "next gen" immersive sim - so the conclusion is a "Dishonored like", it was designed for fast-paced, satisfying combat and slow stealth with some good depth.

I guess give them a Third person camera so someone can satisfy themselve with "hypersexualized" JC drinking whiskey.

they are still great, but it sounds mankind divided is even better than human revolution though.

Deus Ex is the best game in the series. It does not need a remaster. Go play Revision if you want better visuals. I would much rather see a new game that would connect Jensens story to the events of original Deus Ex. But the franchise is dead in the water so no way we are getting anything.

unfortunately true and i agree with you, i am too interested since Adam Jensen's story is pretty great and he was problaby first augmented agent with special powers before JD Denton come.

It's understandable.
HR and MD have always felt like a completely different game series compared to the first game. I've played both and I agree they're good on their own, but it's like comparing Metal Gear Solid to the original Deus Ex.

Also HR and MD even though they are prequels they're nowhere near as realistic as the first game.
It feels more like entering a fantasy compared to DX1's real conspiracies and conversations on real ideas in a grounded setting which was ultimately what made it so immersive for me.

Greatest PC game ever made.... A remake would be awesome as long as the team stays true to original game and just updates the graphics with exact same atmosphere and gameplay. Problem is dev teams start wanting to make changes because they want to "modernize the gameplay" which ends up messing things up

+1 for Remake but pls keep it true to original... don't try to innovate. All we want is modern graphics, keep EVERYTHING else the same

Even better, Deus Ex randomizer adds Steam Deck compatibility and features while allowing you to play the vanilla game or swapped enemy and turret/camera positions.
