Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition

Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition

Remake
What would u think about a Remake? I really love HR and MD but the original Deus Ex feels extremely clunky and outdated. I would love to see a Deus Ex Remake in the style of MD.

All the references to conspiracy theories would removed because "they're not fun anymore" according to reddit

just play it as it is . yes it s clunky and old, but still gives more satisfaction than retarded games from 2024

For sure this game needs a remastered or remake but problaby will never happen, or if some devs decide to do it

Have mod called Revision but its not enough, the lightning quality of game is very trash, you can't see nothing, you need Reshade for improve quality lightning and vice-versa as well change engine render to Direct 10 but doing this sometimes can crash the game or have some lag because i guess both engine render and the reshade are not optimized even if you have a great PC

i have a good pc with RTX 3060 TI 8GB OC with i7-10700f + 32GB of memory ram, even that i have between 102 fps and sometimes drop to 92 fps in some areas, any type of stuttering i suppose, i just dont understand why even a older game having serious problem of bad optimization if its by cause render upgrade or whatever, but it's sad to have such problems like that though.

This. There's absolutely no way some people on the team working on the remake wont water everything down and change or add to the story to fit their own political views.

Considering OP explicitly said they wanted a remake "in the style of MD," that is, taking the Half-Life 2 setting and filling it with Final Fantasy characters and making it about super soldiers, with promotional materials pleading with us that, "augs [sic] live matters [sic],"[cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net] I think it's safe to say that they're fine with the themes being watered down and modernized.

Interesting to see that there are salty people in this forum too. I thought this game is mostly played by adult people.

Deus Ex is the best game in the series. It does not need a remaster. Go play Revision if you want better visuals. I would much rather see a new game that would connect Jensens story to the events of original Deus Ex. But the franchise is dead in the water so no way we are getting anything.

You don’t like Deus Ex; you prefer the streamlined console versions, Piss Filter Revolution and Fanbase Divided. That’s fine, but you should stick with those instead of trying to turn the original into them.

I'm a developer and I approve this message.

By asking pretty please for a remake.
If it plays like the system shock remake and they don't change the story and atmosphere, I'll buy it day one.
