Deus Ex was definitely a single player game, I don't even know why they added multiplayer, but I'm not complaining.
Although one thing i personally wouldn't mind in fact i would enjoy in this game would be co-op.
That is the one in my mind for a while. I played Half-Life: Decay as co-op and enjoyed it a big deal. If the script was written and well executed for co op, the level of enjoyment may surpass even single player experience. There are handfull of nice Deus Ex total conversions but I have never heard a co op mod.
Maybe. Yeah, the original game is a PC game eventhough there is a PS2 version. Invisible War is highly consolised due the Xbox version. Human Revolution had plenty of passive augmentations and skills due to lack of buttons on gamepads of PS3 and X360. The Fall is originally designed for iOS anyway.
However, as Deus Ex uses Unreal Engine 1 which was used for some co op mods of Unreal Tournament (Operation Na Pali, Xidia Gold), I will keep being optimistic for a true co op mod for original Deus Ex.
Also there was so many huge ''party'' maps people made, filled with just random crap and running around.
