What patches should I install?

Now I know about the 1002f maps, Confix, all the renderers from dx9 to 11 and enhanced opengl, and the OpenAL patches. What I am confused about is that you have the unofficial patch 2, Deus-Ex-1-Community-Update[github.com] (this one seams like a bit of a mess), Deus Ex: Transcended, Vanilla Matters[github.com] and GMDX 'v10' Community Update. And while I don't intend to use mods for my first playthrough, I'm curious if these will be compatible for my followups. In addition to those there are also 4 exe/launchers; Deus Exe/kentie's launcher[kentie.net], this launcher[coding.hanfling.de], Ggrotz's Deus Ex Loader and Nerdenstein's UC Mod Loader. Kentie's seams to be the most feature packed.

So what should I chose?
