Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition

Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition

Another topic regarding audio.
Tried all solutions from PC gaming wiki. Tried different sound set ups. The VLC pause trick. Open GL, DX 9 10 11, Software rendering.

Spent hours fiddling with the audio latency settings, nothing works just popping audio.

So is there anything else at all that has not been said already?

PC Gaming Wiki, as I said I tried all solutions, Open AL included.

So yes I've tried it.

I believe you... But I dont think you actually switched to that audio driver, if you followed pcgamingwiki, then you would have made the config changes in your "<steam games>\deus ex\system" folder... but your using kenties launcher, am I right?

try this, open the launcher, click the blue deusex.ini link at the bottom right of the launcher window, and change the AudioDevice=Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem to AudioDevice=ALAudio.ALAudioSubsystem from that file.

Kenties launcher looks for deusex.ini in Documents\deus ex\system NOT <path-to-game>\System as it sais in pcgamingwiki

Every time I try to change that value it goes back to default after closing the launcher/starting the game.

Moreover - it does help when I reset to vanilla and then install it.

But, in the end, the problems are stilll there.
