Other than that though, I agree on some points, but disagree on others. It's not difficult to predict the near future with a bit of extrapolation, but the way our society progresses makes it downright impossible to predict further into the future with great accuracy. Even 10 years is stretching the reliability of extrapolation. For a good example, no one could've predicted the invention of the iPhone (or at least predicted it to be as soon as it did), but Deus Ex, despite that, was able to predict the impact and consequences of such an invention. That's why this game in particular is so revered. Even if it was never the intention, this game is prophetic, and the first true look at our future that's proven itself to be reliable time and time again over the past 20 years.
