its a shame i used to host my own server when i was like 13 and 14 years old. wish i could again. had alot of fun. now i'm almost 19. wow time goes fast.

Multiplayer is still occasionally active over on the new master server (although not as active as it was back in the old days)

new master server? what does that mean? i start up game and don't see any servers.

The master server was basically just a server the game connects to that lists all the other servers running. Back in the day it was hosted by GameSpy, but since they shut down a new fan-made one has popped up.

You must apply a patch to connect to the new masterserver.Your current default adress is set to the olg gamespy masterserver.Go on deus ex folder,system,DeusEx.ini, there will something like MasterServerAdress=master0.gamespy.com, delete that master0.gamespy.com and replace with master.333networks.com
I buyed deus ex goty like 8,9 years ago,did not finished the campaign but I played mutiplayer..was soo addicting all those cool servers,i have a lot of memories with it...Now I am close to 19 like you..the multiplayer is almost dead....hope i helped you..

edit never mine i got it. it just sounds confusing i am mildly autistic and certain things are just difficult for me. can someone help me better maybe? don't know.

also i try to install file and it did not work still cant find servers. T_T maybe if someone can edit file for me... i really wanna host a server again... however i can't understand this...
