Low FPS and Unchangable FPS Cap when using D3D10 renderer
I'm using Kentie's Launcher and D3D10 renderer but I can't uncap the FPS, its always 100 and constant FPS drops occur during gameplay.

The FPS was much worse until I tweaked some settings via Nvidia Control Panel but it's still not stable 144 FPS. Any help on how to achieve stable 144 FPS?

For one the games engine gets screwy over 120 FPS, so you're gonna just have to suck it up and not make the most of your 144hz monitor. Considering the game is 21 years old it really isn't a surprise.

120 is okay as well, I just want it to run with stable 120 FPS without drops. The drops are unbearable + it doesn't let me go above 100 when using D3D10 renderer.

I've seen a preferences menu for the renderer in a video on Youtube but haven't managed to open it yet.

Solved it btw, thanks to your reply to a previous post

First: (from your previous reply to a similar topic, ty for that)

-Disable in-game frame rate limit. Use "0" for "FPSLimit" setting.
-Add deusex.exe to Program Settings in Manage 3D settings in NVIDIA Control Panel and
-change the following settings.
-Low Latency Mode: Ultra.
-Max Frame Rate: 147
-Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance.
-Click Apply.

Then:

-Press T
-Erase ''Say''
-Type in Preferences: A menu will pop up for Advanced Options
-Expand the Rendering tab
-Choose Direct3D 10 Support
-Find FPS limit and type whatever number you want it to be
