Do you mean Smuggler’s base? If you mean the little garage roller door near the blue laser tripwires …. That just has a bot in it, that shoots you if you activate the tripwires and am not friendly with Smuggler.
If you’re just talking about a bog standard security terminal, and it’s not opening, then it’s probably a bug. You should be able to use those normally, like any other security terminal.
There’s also a series of doors in that base that open automatically when you run next to them.
I'm using the kentie launcher so I can only assume it has something to do with that.

There are quite a few doors that can be opened in the game using terminals. Normally though, all the options are present on the one screen, and you can just toggle ‘unlocked/locked’ and ‘closed/open’ as options for a particular Camera Window.
Perhaps if you click ‘Active Window options’, you can find this toggle and unlock + open the door?

This is what the computer terminals normally look like. As you can see, there are normally options for:
- Turning the Camera On/Off,
- Unlocking/Locking a Door
- Opening/Closing a Door
-Setting Turrets to ‘Allies/Enemies’
If you’re experiencing that rendering issue with all of your terminal screens, then it might be worth at least remembering the locations of all of the ‘invisible’ buttons! (I.e in between the ‘Active Window Options’ and ‘Camera Options’ titles, going down).
