Deus Ex: Transcended - Same Feel, Refined

Built largely for first timer players, Deus Ex: Transcended is a mod focused solely around faithfulness to the original, while bringing an unmatched arsenal of bug fixes, paired with key notes of Quality of Life changes.

For most all purposes, it'll play identical to the original, without any substantial changes to balance and no changes to assets, be they map, model, or sound. Virtually all changes outside of pure bug fixing are entirely configurable, allowing for the user to stay even closer the original in every possible way, should they choose it.

Is there an option to run DET through Steam ? Like a launch command or something ?

My good friend, thank you so much! This really made my life happier, I love this game and this bug fixes and improvements made the game much more better! I think Steam should even use this patch to fix the bugs just in the installation of the game!

My good friend, first of all thank you very much once again for the effort of making these bug fixes, however I was quite disappointed with one thing at the time I found it: the Ford Schick bug in the smuggler's hideout has not been fixed in this version. Please fix this. If you want, let me know which email I can send a list of bugs I found to be fixed.

Ford Schick is quite broken and unfinished to the point where it's not even certain that it's merely a bug or intentionally disabled. I think I left him broken because fixing him would require editing the conversation files, which I didn't want to include and bloat file size and break translations.

I understand. But Ford Schick is essencial, because without him, we dont get the Augmentation Upgrade Canister in the last time we go in NY and there is no sense to rescue him at the beggining. I, as a long time player of Deus Ex, think that Ford Schick bug should be fixed =). Whatever, thank you =).

There. The "fix" exists solely so you can get one aug upgrade without cheating

Not impressed with this mod. Wildly inconsistent AI behavior and introduces its own bugs and crashes. "Feature" bugs like fire extenguishers and pepper spray disabling lasers have been fixed. Nice inventory system though, I like it.

What wildly inconsistent AI behaviour?

What crashes?
My changelog doesn't mention anything about changing the laser system, it's same as vanilla.
What changes about the inventory system?

Gas triggers lasers, including gas grenades and gas from posion barrels. That can't be right. Changes to inventory: with the overlap exploit fixed (F) it neatly moves stuff out of the way. Same functionality exists in vanilla too, but I never noticed it because of the aforementioned exploit.

By the way, Denton, aggressive defense system doesn't work on plasma bolts. That's a feature apparently.

hi just wondering if the exe is safe, i used virus total on the exe and it said there were 2 security issues with it one of them called trojanswrt or something. is that like a false positive or something? I also used my anti-virus to scan the file but it said it was completely fine? i've downloaded a similar exe for another game, call of juarez and that was fine so i was just wondering if maybe its just a mistake or something. plus im just super paranoid about getting viruses and i heard this mod is probably the best way to play the game for a beginner (though i've played through HR and Mankind Divided before)

Last time I did an online virus scan on the file all but one anti-virus came back fine, and I reported that one as a false-positive.
