Best setting for the DX11 renderer?
Anyone has some recommended settings? Unfortunately I messed up an after enabling the tessellation and POM, it now looks horrendous.

best settings for what.. performance or eyecandy?

dont use tessellation, it warps the models.. as for the rest, hdr, bloom.. its personal preference.

If you want performance however, use the enhanced opengl renderer.

Eye candy. And yeah, tessellation doesn't work well on this game. Kinda sad

If you want more control over post processing effects, use reshade, you'll have more options like depth of field, motion blur, hdr, levels etc.. I've played with it before, but no matter how perfect you think you've set it, it just doesn't fit the game.

Your best option is to use new vision, which is a high res texture pack, and hdtp which is the same but for most of the models.

Might be a stupid question, but how do I access the settings for the dx11 renderer?

There's a couple of ways:

In deusex.ini, just look for direct3d11 at the bottom of the file, all the parameters are there.
If your using kenties launcher, click the deusex.ini link at the bottom right of launcher and it'll open in notepad.. Otherwise it's in your deusex/system folder.

Or you can press t in game, delete say and type preferences.. All the renderer settings are within that menu somewhere... Personally I would just edit the ini though.
