Fullscreen Problem Using Kentie's Exe

Hey people, I have problem, I installed Kentie's fix as usual but this time for whatever reason the game is refusing to start on fullscreen.

I tried ALT+Enter, tried editing the DeusEx.ini, nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

Borderless fullscreen mode. Functionally the same thing, and no real performance hit.

On borderless, it gives just a black screen. I can hear the sounds and tamper with the menu but I can't see.

What's your renderer set to? If its already set to Direct3D10, try using Enhanced OpenGL

It works with OpenGL but I prefer Direct3D and played the game many times using that renderer, Steam version too.

I don't know what's changed, I am doing the same things as before.

For some reason anything below 2560x1440 resolution covers the screen fully, not ideal since my native res is 2560x1440.

Id probably try deleting your deusex.ini.. or making a backup of it.. Itll be located in your Documents/Deus ex/System directory, then when you run the game the launcher should create a fresh one, that might fix the issue.

Yeah, I tried doing that too. Same problem persists.

Have you tried the d3d11 renderer? https://www.moddb.com/mods/unreal-directx11-renderer-for-ut-ug-rune-and-dx/downloads/directx11-renderer-for-utughp1st-rune-and-dx-version-15 its just had an update

I kinda gave up and think I will go with OpenGL for this run. What I don't understand is why this is happening now. I am using the same rig, game and fix. It feels like something very simple is hiding from me.
