You'd probably have an overall better experience if you ditched the controller and played with keyboard and mouse. If you can't do that, then I don't know how to help you, because I don't use a controller to play this game.

How did you get the controller to work in the first place? Are you using some kind of key binding application to get the game to read your inputs? If so, then you probably have to reconfigure your control scheme.

What program are you using? Input mapper? Disable the touchpad on the ps4 controller. Strongly recommend ditching the controller. This game is not controller friendly. There are not near enough buttons on a controller to make use of 10 augmentations.

You need to calibrate your controller and/or set the deadzone of your analog sticks to something higher.

Calibration can be done from windows control panel under devices, deadzone can be changed through whatever your using to map keys to the controller.

Wait, why are you playing this with a PS4 pad? That'd be like playing Guitar Hero with a flight stick.

Not many people know this, so in case you didnt, this game was ported to PS2. So if you play it on a ps2 emulator you will have native controller support. They changed the UI just for controller in that version, so you wont have to navigate the menu with right stick and R2. You can also tweak the graphic settings in the emulator to make it look as pretty as the pc version.

I used Steam's big picture mode to play it, there's a community made controller configuration for this game and it works fine. The only problem I'm facing is the the camera moving on its own.

If there's any way that you can increase your analog stick's deadzone, then that may work for you. If you don't know, the deadzone refers to the circumference in which the analog stick will not produce input. Some games are very sensitive about reading controller input; if your stick's deadzone is too small, the game may still read input even when it's not being touched. This is likely because, as analog sticks dilapidate with age, the stick will not return to dead center when it is left untouched. By increasing the deadzone, sensitivity problems can be mitigated.

Give it a try and see if it helps you out.

I increased the deadzone and it did in fact help! Thanks a lot!
