How did you get the controller to work in the first place? Are you using some kind of key binding application to get the game to read your inputs? If so, then you probably have to reconfigure your control scheme.
Calibration can be done from windows control panel under devices, deadzone can be changed through whatever your using to map keys to the controller.
I would guess this person is playing with a ps4 controller because he/she wants to. But i cant say for sure, im just guessing
Not many people know this, so in case you didnt, this game was ported to PS2. So if you play it on a ps2 emulator you will have native controller support. They changed the UI just for controller in that version, so you wont have to navigate the menu with right stick and R2. You can also tweak the graphic settings in the emulator to make it look as pretty as the pc version.
I used Steam's big picture mode to play it, there's a community made controller configuration for this game and it works fine. The only problem I'm facing is the the camera moving on its own.
Give it a try and see if it helps you out.
I increased the deadzone and it did in fact help! Thanks a lot!
