Multiplayer?

My son and I both played this game many times. I would like to play multiplayer with him over the internet. Is this possible? Thank you.

Someone will give you a better answer but in a nutshell, yes.

You have to configure some stuff but people do actively play multiplayer.

I also know of some archives for multiplayer mods, if you ever wanna use those (UT Weapons, Realistic weapons, unlimited bioenergy, etc,)

I think that as GameSpy master server is dead, you have to update the game´s master server yourself (I think in DeusEx/System/Deus Ex.ini file somewhere?) to some unofficial, which you can find on the internet. But I doubt that anybody plays there anymore.

There are still people that play on the new masterservers, but games have slowed down due to everyone being busy

- Browse to your Deus Ex installation folder and locate the file deusex.ini
- Open the file in notepad/wordpad and scroll down until you find section labelled [DeusEx.MenuScreenJoinGame]
- Edit the MasterServerAddress=master0.gamespy.com line to master.333networks.com or master.deusexnetwork.com
