Is there any patches for this game?
Just brought it today because It was very cheat, but before I brought it, I saw some discussions that there are some bugs in the game that won't let you progress any futher

Is there any link to the patch that I can get before playing the game?

Kentie's launcher, which fixes several compatibility problems and allows easy widescreen support:

Bug fix patch:

Would rather go with GMDX.

GMDX is more for experience players, so I wouldn't jump to recommend you play it on your first run unless you do enjoy a good challenge. GMDX seems to fix pretty much all bugs in the game

@dbelow_ That's wrong. Says so on the website: http://gmdxmod.com/features/

"Difficulty levels have been expanded upon considerably to provide a suitable experience relative to the player’s skill level. Just be sure to pick the right difficulty level for you! If you’re entirely new to Deus Ex “Easy” or “Medium” is recommended. If you’ve played Deus Ex before yet are new to GMDX then “Medium” or “Hard” is recommended. If you’re a dedicated challenge seeker “Realistic” or “Hardcore” is recommended."

Well, it is true, lower difficulties are more fleshed out in GMDX, I still think he should play vanilla at least once, if only to see how far ahead GMDX takes it
