Well yea, dx10 is always the first option... but just in case, theres other options aswell.
Terrible mouse input? Ive never had that with the opengl renderer, so long as vsync and mouse acceleration is off, it should be fine, but it all depends on your gfx card. Just because the card can support dx10, doesnt always mean its the best option. My 280x ran better with the enhanced opengl renderer, but it supports dx10 fine.. That been said, my current card, gtx 1060, runs nicely with dx10 and thats what I use now.
As for how worse it looks, Im assuming your talking about the extra post processing effects added by the dx10 renderer that arent supported by the dx9 and opengl renderers? I could really care less about that eye candy... new vision adds just enough visual appeal to keep the game visually pleasing, and opengl supports it if it has to come to using that renderer.
Doesn't matter, I thought you were saying those were better than DirectX10 is all.
Every pc is different, and not to mention the monitor your using, which can also effect mouse lag. So I guess your just unlucky enough to have a setup that experiences such bad mouse input :P
I dont know where you got that idea, I was merely suggesting an alternative.
mmm, I agree.. It can be a bit much sometimes, especially in the mod zodiac, on the first mission theres a building with a white roof, sculpture... thing.. anyway, blindingly white using dx10 with bloom enabled.
Yeah me neither, I misunderstood or read it wrong obviously.
The whole screen contrast going from 1 to 100 in a second just because you look at a single light is ridiculous. I don't like bloom, but whoever did this one obviously had no idea what they were doing.
Im going off subject here, but have you ever tried enb series? Looks bloody terrible in deus ex despite a good majority of people saying otherwise.
