please help
I have attempted to launch the games while doing research and trying different solutions to no avail and so here I am.
I've tried adding -userpath C:\foundationdata
As a launch option, and I've added exclusions for the game in my system security as well.
The game launches a window, but I cannot see this window, when I alt+tab I can see a window within the changing screen options but it's like it's invisible.
My mouse changes to the in-game cursor and I can hear the music if I alt+tab over the invisible window, if I hit buttons such as esc, I can hear the games sound affects reacting to the button inputs.
I cannot figure out how to get this game to launch for the life of me! I've had a similar issue with Balatro as well but no other games I've played on this PC.
Any help would be appreciated, I have an AMD Graphics.
that was my hotfix good luck
It's still not working!!! It literally worked yesterday with the launch option, after alot of time trying to get it to work
I've had this game for years but if it's unplayable I want a refund!!!
also AMD gpu and windows 11
the drivers are up to date
You can change the location of the user files by adding the following to the launch options in Steam:
-----
If the above does not work and you are still having problems we would like to get more information on this issue.
Please could you send you foundation.log files as well as a dxdiag report to us at support@polymorph.games so that we can investigate further.
foundation.log file is (normally) found here:
> Documents/Polymorph Games/Foundation
To run dxdiag:
> type 'dxdiag' in Windows search bar
> Run the dxdiag tool and wait for the green bar to finish
> Save all information
Thanks
I will mark this post as the answer to keep it visible until we can get more information for those still having the issue after trying the initial workaround.
