autosave not working properly

After playing over months the autosave-function doesn´t work anymore, it produces an error message after a few minutes:

error while saving
error while saving ´Foundation/SaveGame/autosave-07.foundation´.
error: unknown error

I already found a thread where it is said, the size of the save file into the cloud cannot exceed 100 mb. So it did. At present the local save-file is about 104 mb (801 people in town)...

I guess this is the problem. Well, my question. How can I prevent the autosave-function to autosave into the cloud and/or where can I change the autosave to my local harddrive?

You do it in Steam. Right click Foundation in the Steam Library. Choose Properties. In the General submenu, you can click the toggle button to turn off cloud saving.

dperx is correct.
It is also possible to do it in the settings in-game as well though.
Go to settings (General tab) you should see an option to Auto-save In Cloud. Switch this off and it will auto-save in \Documents\Polymorph Games\Foundation\Save Game

That one isn't cloud specific. It just turns autosave on and off.

- Auto-save In Cloud (prevents or enables auto-saves in cloud but still auto-saves locally if switched off)

If you have cloud save off in Steam you will only see the first option.
