Villagers afraid of bridges? + some feedback.
So, I started a new game in a fluvial landscape because i like to have the water near me. I expanded a bit and for me to reach all the recources I want I had to build a bridge. So I built a wooden bridge (which costs a ton of planks) and NOONE is crossing it. I tried building a lumber camp on the other side, but the builders don´t even bother. The extraction areas I assigned on that side of the bridge are equally ignored. Does anyone have any Idea why this happens or should I just post this in bug reports? It really cripples my gameplay since I now have to do some awkward reforestation on my side of the bridge to even get wood again.
I got the help that my bridge might be to short, but this clearly needs to be fixed or properly indicated as editing the bridge after the fact is not possible.
Now to hope that I can muster enough wood for a new bridge.

Also, villagers are way to strict with their pathways. They went around a little forest when bulding the bridge which is a huge detour and now, even though they have straight way to the bridge, they just stick to their little pathways.
Players should have some control over this or the AI needs to follow the smartest path, not the first they create.

Yes, this is rather annoying, at first villagersa are afraid to walk through forests and makes a big cycle. But you can direct them by "closing" their paths as red lords land. It takes some time for villagers to understand that but than they'll make new paths and after thet you may delete red area.

uh that is good to know. I tried that but I removed the forbidden zone as I thought ít migh have to do with them not using the bridge.
After building a new, slightly longer bridge and without the forest in the way anymore they now started going proper routes and using the bridge.
