A dude got stuck in the middle of the water

I put a dummy near the water and then a soldier got stuck in it. Can i kill him somehow??

Try painting a red area round him and see if that helps. If not, you may just have to wait until he leaves due to unhappiness.

Another thing to try is to demolish the dummy and see if that resets him back onto dry land. I had to do something similar once when switching a villager from fisherman to soldier. She got stuck out on the boat. So I ended up destroying the fishery.

impx waiting doesnt help (never leaves).
But for me the hint with red area helped :)
