Visitors

I am on my 3rd game with the newest patch an currently trying to do the Labour Hard Aspiration. In my 2 games before i have build a Monastery with Hospitium and got almost immediately Visitors regularly. Now i have build a Monastery with Hospitium the same way like before but no Visitors are coming. I had the visiting Monks event and got them for a Month, so i know the Hospitium works. After another Month i got 6 Visitors without a quest, but normally it stays empty.

Does anybody know what attracts Visitors or how i can get more? In my past games Donations were a good income iirc and i hoped to counter the high maintenance cost of the Monastery this way, but no visitors means no donations. The only thing i did different is that i don't trade because of the aspiration and i build the Monastery on the map border.

Trade (or no trade) should have no effect on the visitors. Visitors do need a free space in the Hospitium. So they will not come if you have the visiting monks (and your Hospitium is too small). Could be that the mood of the previous visitors has an effect on the rate of new visitors.

What is the happiness of your town?

I had plenty of space (40 Capacity) and a happiness of around 100. However i think the text from the monk event said something about they will spread the word how nice it was and they will come back. Now, after some more weeks, it seems visitors coming in. I also had the delegation event together with another monk event which maxed out my capacity. Now it's good. Looks like it just needed some time.
