I had the perfect idea to make 2 cities -- one on each cliff to the NW and SE. The only problem is that the "entrances" are on the outsides relative to my starting city in the middle.
I tried building bridges, but they all turned out looking stooopid.
I'm gonna load your seed now. I'm bummed. For reasons not related to Foundation, today has been a real ♥♥♥♥ day.
Did you try both wooden and stone bridge? I've only ever built one really long bridge from the island I started on over on the edge of a map all the way across the ocean to get to the spawn point at the edge of the other side of the map but it doesn't need to be that high above ground when placing it above the ocean.
I tried 'em all. The issue for me is the length. If the bridge is perpendicular to the cliff, it sticks out too far. And, if it's kinda parallel-ish to hug the cliff, it's still friggin long. So either way, villagers have to walk the full length of the bridge and then back to some degree before getting where they need to go. So, they're just separated by way more walking distance than I'm comfortable with. It's certainly workable, but it's not even close to what I was going for, so it really just turned me off.

Enjoy building your dream kingdom!
I'm sure there are others that will dig this map though as it's not a huge island but you can start on it and has enough resources to get a bridge across. In the 4 times I started a new game with the map the immigrants come in from the far south central edge of the map. Something to keep in mind if you want your immigrants to arrive quickly.
Enjoy.

It's a hill map with two big lakes and a big flat hill where you can put your castle and palace looking out across your domain
Plenty of flat spots for big wheat farms too.
I'll post map photos after dinner.

The 2nd island is only a sliver as it's right next to the border so has that dead space near the border.
I love this map seed man! Thankyou very much for sharing!
