how do i build sculptures?

i unlocked the sculpture workshop, built it, and assigned a master builder, but i don't see how i actually start building a sculpture.

You need to place a part that requires a sculpture, it is on-demand production only (same for the stained glass workshop)

Yep. You basically need to be building a masterpiece for the sculptures or a church for the stainglass.

On a side note the marble and glass (normal kind) make great trade goods to sell.

ah, i see now some tier 5 decorations require a sculpture to be built. thank you!
