And remember to set up a Warehouse near the Smelter/Smith/whatever where the Coal is going to be used.
but this part seen to be buggy. I have a coal maker hut IN a big forest and the workers are either stupid or blind, they dont see the forest for the trees, they keep walking half the map for another forest, while another coal producers are all good and keep cutting the trees around their workplace.
Even destroying the apparently buggy building and set up a new one in a different place didnt help
So far coal has been the bottleneck in my production chains, I am a bit surprised by how little they generate.
But still with the coal shanty being next to a forest and the forest marked to be cut down it is still slow production of coal and might need a buff, at least a little one.
Forester and 'woodcutter' (villagers working at a Logging Camp or Coal Burner) are different jobs in different buildings.
A Coal Burner needs both a woodcutting area and a Forester to replenish the cut trees. It functions exactly like a Logging Camp
The Coal Burner chops the nearest mature tree within a painted 'Woodcutting' area.
The Forester then replants trees in deforested areas within that specific Forester Hut's painted zone.
Okay so they are working like they should so maybe they need to look into a little buff to make coal faster than they are currently?
