Measuring distance

Is there a way to measure or see the distance people will travel? I have heard 1 or 1.5 hex. How can I measure a hex? Or is there some way to proof or test? As I am expanding and already running into distance, I want to be in front of the problem.

The distance for pretty much everything is 150m. There is not a real good way to measure it, but you can get an approximation by looking at prospecting distances at the bailiff or just paying attention to an individual villager and how far they are from their home at a certain point.

The default circular brush is 24m. The largest square brush is 40m. Use that to paint on some temporary zones (hunting is good) to gauge your distances.
