How do I move my castle?
In my town I created a small wooden keep to see how it worked. Now I'm wanting to move the castle to a nearby fortified hill where I think it would look alot better and give me more room to mes with it. However it appears I can only build a single keep and so I cant build the new castle before abandoning the old one. Moving the castle also doesnt seem to be feasable. I thought of changing the keep module to barracks but its wanting to destroy a bunch of stuff and I dont know what it would do to my small army/patrols.

What is the best way to do this?

The reason you double-click is that it will select all the connected parts of the sub-building and move them as one.
Then you just move it where you want and click the accept button.

Hi,
simply, you can't!
you sure? I have moved a lot of stuff already. You open the edit menu, then click on the extant building, and the arrows (you know, the move, turn, stretch etc. arrows) will appear and you can use it to move it.

Now granted, there are some limitations as far as main or sub buildings work etc. I wouldnt know about that in your particular case
You should be able to go into edit, move/change pieces as required and apply changes. I've never tried moving a whole castle though. It will probably involve a big upfront cost and disrupt your companies until the new castle is built.

ok this is mostly what I was after. I'm trying to build a normal watch to take over for the soldiers so my buildings dont degrade but this will make the move easier.
